Job Description
Windmill Organics is one of the leading organic food companies in the UK, established over 30 years ago. We are looking for a highly skilled and effective Account Manager with a passion for our mission, to come and hit the ground running to help us rapidly expand. The role will be very varied but will provide unrivalled opportunities for growth and progression in a very fast-growing company. The Account Manager will need to be extremely comfortable nurturing and growing existing/new accounts within the wholesale and health food trade channels.
National account management responsibilities:
· Full P&L responsibility for the customers in your portfolio.
· Negotiate trade terms, price increases, promotional plans and activation.
· Increase distribution of existing range, gain new listings and launch NPDs.
· Pursue new business opportunities across in the channel in the UK and in key EU markets.
· Build a strong working relationship with the customers engaging stakeholders at all levels and represent the Company with pride in all relevant forums.
· Monitor performance of commercial activities and prepare monthly reports for senior leadership team.
· Annual planning and budgeting.
Requirements:
· Previous experience within the wholesale, online or grocery channel with full responsibility over P&L, JBP + Budget where applicable. Prior experience with wholesale customers would be an advantage but not essential.
· Strong knowledge of market trends including competitor activity and industry innovations.
· Strategic, analytical and commercially minded with attention to detail.
· Drive, determination and commitment to get things done.
· Excellent organisation skills.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Result driven and confident to achieve Company targets.
